My name is Steve Wild.
I grew up in Ohio as a conservative Christian and serious student.
I married the one woman I ever fell in love with and together we have a daughter. But our marriage was plagued by the fact I was secretly struggling with my sexual orientation since I was a teenager, trying to suppress my natural attraction to males.
I unexpectently met a man, Rich, when I was 41 who also had a wife and three children. We fell in love and we started a new life together in 1999.
Rich and I have become very active publicly in the gay community in Columbus, Ohio. We take great joy in our membership in the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus and I became publicly active for the first time ever in both gay activism and Democratic politics starting in 2003.
